Meet The Team
Rex Alfaras
Rex is the founder and managing director of Filcare Insurance Services based in Hamilton.
Prior to being a financial adviser, he was a Realtor in the Philippines for over fifteen years and a licensed real estate agent in New Zealand.
He has been helping people with their insurance needs for over nine years as a well experienced financial adviser. Ensuring that his clients get the best protection for themselves and their loved ones.
He loves to explore the great outdoors and goes fishing in his free time. He stays active by playing basketball and is dedicated in taking care of his family.
Julien Alfaras
Julien is looking after the management and administration side of the business. Her background and education are in IT, business management, financial services and immigration law. Her expertise is a big help with our mostly migrant market because she understands the situation of the migrants and knows how to assist them to keep them lawful in New Zealand as well as to provide necessary advice in their personal insurance.
In her spare time, she loves to paint using acrylic and do charcoal portraits. She also loves to read and spend time with Rex, their two boys and Moochi, their dog.
